The Annotated Alice!

This is the first strip that ever made me laugh out loud when I thought of it. The whole storyline revolved around this joke.

If you've ever been threatened by a bully when you were a kid you do feel like your life is in danger (and it often can be). I have no doubt Alice felt exactly like Salman Rushdie. 'Course Salman didn't have a Dot to protect him. (More on that tomorrow.)
